On fêtait ces derniers jours les dix ans de la formidable Dreamcast, qui pour avoir été une monstrueuse baffe commerciale dans la gueule à SEGA (juste après la Saturn…), fut aussi la dernière production hardware de la marque au hérisson bleu. Tout le monde aujourd’hui est d’accord pour dire que gnagnagna, super console, gnanagna, super catalogue, gnanagna, superbe vision…FALLAIT L’ACHETER, AU LIEU DE LA LAISSER CREVER ! Non, au lieu de ça, ça attendait la PS2 qui était moins bonne en tout (rrhooo l’aliasing de la PS2…)… Bref, même aujourd’hui, mon fils me tanne à chaque vacances scolaires pour que je lui ressorte la Dream du placard. Snif. Vraiment, super console…

Windows CE en interne, Un bon gros PowerVR qui gicle, un proc central Hitachi SH4 128 bits, 7 Millions de polys en pointe, 16 Mb de ram à 100 mhz, un modem 56000 interne….Et le fabuleux GD-rom réputé inviolable (pppffffrrrrrtttt……)

Allez, un petit top 10 des jeux Dreamcast (rahhhhaaaa, ShenMue….SoulCalibur….re-snif). Dommage qu’on ai jamais eu un Wipe-Out solide sur cette plateforme.

Metallica May Lead Metal ‘Big Four’ Tour

Slayer guitarist Kerry King is fueling rumors that his band will join Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax on the ultimate thrash tour.

Speaking to Britain’s Metal Hammer magazine, Kerry said that he had heard that Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich was planning to bring the Big Four metal acts together for a massive outing.

“I’ve heard people referencing Lars,” King said. “I don’t know Lars that well and I haven’t heard it from Lars but apparently he’s talking to somebody about it. Maybe us, Metallica, Megadeth, I think he even threw in Anthrax.”

Donnez-moi la date please, je veux y aller !!!!!
